For 25 years, Farrell Ballet Theatre has inspired audiences with the breathtaking beauty of ballet. As is typical for performing arts organizations, ticket sales generate only 40% to 60% of the revenue needed to cover the costs of venue rental fees, professional guest artist fees, costumes, pointe shoes, and advertising. The remainder is provided by the generous support of individual donors.
This year’s goal is to raise $25,000. The funds will allow FBT to bring two performances to the stage, offer student scholarships, plus expand our community performances in schools, senior centers, and churches – with the purchase of a professional quality portable dance floor and sound equipment. FBT serves the greater Kalamazoo county area with a studio located on the campus of Kalamazoo College and performances at historic Chenery Auditorium and the Epic Center in downtown Kalamazoo.
FBT dancers spend hundreds of hours in the studio rehearsing to bring the beauty of ballet to the stage.
Please take a few moments now to make a donation to support the dancers via the “From Studio To Stage” fund.
